World Mental Health Day 10th October 2023
World Mental Health Day is an opportunity for people and community to unite behind the theme: Mental Health is a Universal Human Right
Good mental health is vital to our overall health and wellbeing. Yet one is eight people globally are living with mental health conditions, which can impact physical health, wellbeing, how they connect with others, and their livelihoods.
Black History Month October 2023
Black History Month is important because it recognises and celebrates the contributions and experiences of black people in the UK. It’s an opportunity to:
Raise awareness about the history of black communities
Combat racism
Promote inclusivity
Inspire positive social change

Mind in Brighton and Hove Stress Toolkit Workshops
We all experience stress and it can be positive but sometimes stress can stop us doing things and feel overwhelming. We are running two more of our Stress Toolkit Workshops on Tuesday 10th October 10.00am – 1.00pm and Tuesday 21st November 1.30pm - 4.30pm.
World Suicide Prevention Day 10th September
“Creating Hope Through Action” remains the theme for the World Suicide Prevention Day 2023. This theme serves as a powerful call to action and reminder that there is an alternative to suicide and that through our actions we can encourage hope and strengthen prevention.
International Overdose Awareness Day
International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31st is the world’s largest annual campaign to end overdose, to remember without stigma those who have died from overdose, and acknowledge the grief of the family and friends left behind.
