Anxiety
Anxiety is a feeling that we can all experience from time to time, whether it be because of an exam, a new job interview, or generally doing something we are not comfortable doing. The experience of anxiety can cause a range of symptoms such as feelings of tension, worry and panic, reduced ability anxiety to concentrate, increased heart rate, trembling, sweating, loss of appetite and difficulty sleeping.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Many of us have heard of the term ‘Obsessive Compulsive Disorder’, and perhaps you yourself have laughed with friends about certain rituals that you do in your day-to-day life that are particular to you but that others may perceive as odd or strange.
Depression
Everyone struggles with feeling down or hopeless at times, maybe when they’ve lost their job, or gone through a difficult break-up. Sometimes, though, these feelings can go further and interfere with day to day life – this can be a sign of depression.
Staying active
Physical activity can be good for your mental health. Activity doesn’t need to be particularly intense for you to feel good. Just enough to release the endorphins (feel good hormones) that make you feel better in yourself and give you more energy, boosting self-esteem and promoting sleep.
Improve your Sleep
Many people have problems with sleeping. However, being a common problem does not make it any easier to cope with and issues with sleep can have a huge impact on daily life.
