Carers Week 5th June 2023

Its national Carers week from the 5th - 9th June and the theme this year is 'Recognising and supporting carers in the community'. The theme aims to reflect the need for communities across the UK to come together to recognise the huge contribution unpaid carers make to society. There are a number of carers activities being run across Brighton and Hove and details of these can be found on the website of Brighton and Hove Carers Centre www.thecarerscentre.org/carers-week-2023/

Our Mental Health Advice Service provides regular advice and information for mental health carers, family members and partners both to support their own wellbeing and mental health but also in supporting the mental health of the person they care for or support.

If you would like an appointment with one of our advice workers to find out about mental health support in the city you can call us on 01273 666950 or email us on info@mindcharity.co.uk

This can include information on supporting someone with a mental health condition and how to access services. National Mind also provide free information booklets for carers and family members on www.mind.org.uk/information-support/helping-someone-else/
