Improving Lives Workshops
Improving lives workshops - working with ethnic communities to improve health outcomes:
NHS Sussex is working in partnership with three local organisations that support minority ethnic communities to have their voice heard:
Bridging Change
Voluntary Action Arun and Chichester
Diversity Resource International
We would like to invite people from ethnically diverse communities to come together and hear from local NHS about how local minority ethnic voices have supported change and improvements to NHS services over the last 3 years.
There will be three opportunities to join tables to discuss a range of themes including Mental health, access to Primary Care, Maternity services, and managing long-term conditions. There will also be an open space / table for people to bring their experiences around other NHS services.
From the discussions and suggestions, NHS Sussex will develop a plan to support further improvements.
