Active Forever drop-in session Wednesday 19 April

Drop in on our Mental Health Advice Team who will be providing advice and information along with free resources on looking after your wellbeing and mental health at the Active Forever 2023 Event held at King Alfred on April 19th.

This annual popular event, delivered by Brighton and Hove Council Active Life Team in partnership by with Freedom Leisure, takes place on April 19th and is this year part of the Stay Strong, Stay Steady, Stay Independent Campaign.

Leading an active lifestyle is so important for all of us. Whether it’s dancing, walking, playing team sports or travelling actively around the city, people can move more at any age.

Drop in to try (or watch) a schedule of physical activity taster sessions aimed at those over 50. You can expect an array of activities including Otago Strength & Balance, Boccia, Circuits, Zumba plus much more.

Tasters in Walking Football with Albion in the Community, Walking Cricket with Sussex Cricket and Walking Netball with Freedom Leisure. Please see the schedule attached for details.

You can also visit our marketplace featuring a range of local health, wellbeing, and activity providers. FREE refreshments will be served.
